Join us for a joyful, camp-inspired Shabbat afternoon designed for all generations - children, parents, grandparents, and everyone in between! Taste of Jewish Summer: An intergenerational Shabbat afternoon celebrating Jewish summer experiences  brings our BSBI community together from Mincha through Havdalah for a meaningful and relaxed Shabbat experience, complete with a shared meal and opportunities to explore Jewish summer programs.
 
Menu: Pasta Bar
$10 per Adult, $5 per Child
*Money should never be a barrier - if cost is a concern, please contact Rabbi Daniel. Assistance is available.
 
Register by Tuesday, January 27th
 
Dress: Shabbat casual. Camp, program, or Israel trip sweatshirts welcome (optional!)
 
Throughout the afternoon, families will be able to learn about a wide range of Jewish summer experiences, including:
  • Jewish day and overnight camps
  • U.S. based Jewish programs
  • Teen opportunities and journeys to Israel
  • Scholarships and resources that help make these experiences accessible
Program highlights include:
  • Camp-style Mincha
  • A relaxed Shabbat dinner
  • Engaging Jewish learning sessions for both adults and youth
  • Informal exploration of camps and programs
  • Optional camp-style activities for kids and teens
  • Storytelling across generations
  • A warm, musical Havdalah to close Shabbat
