Daily Services
Daily Services
Each evening, Monday to Thursday at 7:00 p.m., we hold a traditional service. Depending on the time of the year, we do the Mincha (afternoon) or Maariv (evening) service. This brief, 30-minute prayer interlude in a busy day allows participants an opportunity to fulfill their obligation for daily prayer, to connect with God and community, and for mourners, to recite the Kaddish prayer.
For those observing a Yahrzeit, the Hebrew calendar anniversary of death of a loved one, the traditional memorial prayer, El Moleh Rahamim, is recited.
Most often, the prayer leader is a lay member of the congregation. When a family is observing Shiva, the week of mourning, the service may be moved to their home if it is within a 10-minute drive of the synagogue.
Our daily services are also available on Zoom. Please contact the synagogue office for information. For security reasons, we do not publish our Zoom links.
