BETH SHOLOM B’NAI ISRAEL...
provides a vibrant, caring atmosphere strengthened by our connection to Conservative Judaism. We develop and enrich our Jewish identities through ritual, celebration, education, and social action. We strive to support the needs of our diverse membership, the greater community, the Jewish people, and the State of Israel.
A few notes about our synagogue:
- BSBI affirms that nothing stands between us and God. We aspire to create a safe space for everyone to participate in our community of faith.
- We aspire to include everyone in the faith and practice.
- We welcome all people to our community regardless of age, gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientations, family, financial status, nationality, physical or mental ability. We have room for everyone here.
- We hold weekly services on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, gather for daily evening prayer (minyan), and holidays.
- We are a community of lifelong learners. Our Endowment Foundation offers scholarships for students wishing to attend Jewish camps or attending youth group trips and taking Israel trips or Jewish-related college courses. We have learning opportunities for adults at every stage in their Jewish journey.
A Warm, Welcoming, and Active Community
One of the most important functions of our synagogue is to give our members a sense of belonging and community. This sense of home is something that you can feel at Beth Sholom B’nai Israel, whether you are a newer member or you have been around for decades. We offer many opportunities to socialize with other congregants through a wide array of programs and activities available. There are also many activities that are coordinated by Sisterhood, Brotherhood or other synagogue committees. Outdoor hikes, evenings of music or comedy, interesting guest speakers, and much more!
