TASHLICH*
Casting Away Our Sins

Tuesday, September 23 at 12:45 pm

This year we are meeting directly following Rosh Hashanah Day 1 Morning Service.  We will meet again at The Old Woodbridge Farm at Manchester Green, and use birdseed to “cast away” our sins into the river.

Directions: 495 East Middle Turnpike, east of the intersection of the Turnpike and Woodbridge Street, opposite the Green. To see the barn and grounds, walk down the grass driveway between the house and Woodbridge Pizza. There is parking on the street or in the lot behind the Manchester Senior Center.

REVERSE TASHLICH
with Repair The Seas

Sunday, September 28 at 1:00pm

Join us for our fourth year with the global Jewish movement dedicated to repairing the sea and safeguarding the water that sustains life on Earth.

When we perform Tashlich, we cast our sins into the water. For Reverse Tashlich, we remove “sins” created by humans from the water. As we prepare ourselves to enter the new year with pure hearts and good intentions, let’s fulfill the mitzvah of bal tashchit, the prohibition against needless waste and destruction.

Register here:
