At RLWRS, we offer a strong Jewish education along with a deep sense of community and caring for each individual child. We believe that Jewish education should go beyond the aleph bet. Along with Jewish history, music, the celebration of holidays, leading prayer, and other important subjects, we stress the importance of gemilut chasidim—acts of loving-kindness—a core value which we try to instill in all our students by our words and our actions. We hope you will join us in our mission to provide each student with a strong foundation for lifelong Jewish learning.
The Rabbi Leon Wind Religious School (RLWRS) is not just a school- it's a community! Our close-knit group of students, teachers, and parents aims to create a safe and supportive environment for Jewish growth. Besides learning basic skills needed to participate in communal life, our students develop their own identities as Jews.
The congregation offers many opportunities for learning and socializing; school families are invited to all BSBI events.
For further information, please contact the synagogue administrator at admin@myshul.org or (860) 643-9563 ext. 103.
*We welcome all students, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, financial status, or physical ability.
*Families must be synagogue members in order to receive a b'nai mitzvah date and b'nai mitzvah tutoring.
We look forward to sharing our love of Judaism with you and your family!
