Torah Service
Blessing Before Torah Reading (p. 172)
Ba-r’khu et Adonai ha-m’vorakh.
Congregation recites and you repeat:
Barukh Adonai ha-m’vorakh l’olam va-ed.
Continue:
Barukh ata Adonai, eloheinu melekh ha-olam, asher bachar banu mi-kawl ha-amim, v’natanlanu et to-ra-to. Barukh ata Adonai, noten ha-torah.
Blessing After the Reading
Barukh ata Adonai, eloheinu melekh ha-olam, asher natan lanu to-rat emet, v’cha-yei olam nata b’to-khenu. Barukh ata Adonai, noten ha-torah.
Haftarah Blessings
Blessing Before Haftarah (p. 175)
Barukh ata adonai eloheinu, melekh ha-olam asher bachar bin-vi-im tovim, v’ratza v’div-reihem ha-ne-e-marim be-emet. Barukh ata adonai, ha-bo-cher ba-torah uv-moshe avdo, uv-yisra-el amo, u-vin-vi-ei ha-emet vatzedek.
