Shabbat Services
Shabbat Services
Every Shabbat, on Friday evening and Shabbat morning, we have a traditional, participatory service. Friday evening services begin at 6:00 p.m. most of the year. The service includes much unison singing, a very brief D’var Torah, and some English readings. It lasts approximately 60 minutes.
On Shabbat and Festival mornings, the service typically begins at 10:00 a.m. The participatory, traditional service is led by the Rabbi and lay members of the community. The Rabbi delivers a D’var Torah, making the weekly or holiday reading more meaningful and relevant and lay members of the congregation often serve as Torah readers. The service concludes at about 12:30 p.m. and is followed by a Kiddush, and often a lunch, sponsored by our Sisterhood, the congregation, or members to honor a special event in their lives.
If you would like to sponsor a luncheon, please contact our office manager.
Our Shabbat Services are all live streamed on our website.
