BSBI Gift Shop

Operated by the BSBI Sisterhood

The Gift Shop carries a wide array of Judaica, including:

Challah plates and silk challah covers
Kiddush cups and serving plates
Seder plates
Mezzuzot and jewelry for children and adults
Tallitot, kippot and yadayim for B’Nai Mitzvah
Chanukah menorahs, dreidels and candles
Music, cookbooks and prayer books
Tzedakah boxes
Other items are available through our many catalogs.

BSBI Sisterhood's Knit and Kvetch Group knits and crochets hats, Afghans and mittens to donate to local charities that help people in need. 2022 marked our 17th year of Knitting. Last year, we donated 800 items to various organizations. Here are some of them: Cornerstone, Crestfield Nursing Home, DeQuattro Cancer Center, Kids Safe, HVCC, MARC, Hartford Health Care and more. We have also supplied Afghans for Rabbi to distribute when he visits congregants in the hospital.

If you would like to donate yarn or money to Knit and Kvetch, please leave your marked donations in the office or contact Anne Fink. For donations mail or drop your check to the office made out to Sisterhood for Knit and Kvetch. Any questions, contact Anne Fink, 860-649-6551.
