Come welcome Shabbat with rousing music for voices and instruments! These musical settings of the psalm texts of Kabbalat Shabbat were written by Rabbi Micah Shapiro and have been used in Boston, MA, and in Jerusalem. We are looking for instrumentalists and singers to be part of the mehalelim (group of lay leaders) - to learn the melodies and practice with instruments ahead of time. Being a member of the mehalelim involves attending a rehearsal on the Thursday night before the Shabbat Nariya date (those Thursdays are June 21, July 26, and August 23).
