As we prepare for the High Holy Days, we remember our family and friends who are no longer with us. At Beth Sholom B’nai Israel one of the ways we honor their memories is by offering you the opportunity to include their names in our Yizkor Book. This lovely keepsake will be used during the Yizkor Services four times throughout the Jewish year: Yom Kippur, the end of Sukkot, the end of Passover and on Shavuot.

Jewish tradition encourages honoring the memory of loved ones by giving tzedakah to remember their names. Thank you to everyone who chooses to make a donation to include names in our Yizkor Book. We also appreciate everyone who makes a donation to Beth Sholom B’nai Israel's Yizkor Book, but chooses to keep the names in your heart.

Each entry has: DONOR NAME(S) and the REMEMBERED NAME(S).
Please confirm that your submission includes exactly what you want for each.

This year we are again offering personalized paragraphs in memory of our loved ones. These paragraphs will be included in a dedicated section in our Yizkor book following the names listing. The passage(s) submitted must be under 50 words. The cost is $36 per paragraph.

Example: "In memory of our parents (their names) who filled our lives with kindness and love. Their gentle manner and continuous efforts to fill our lives with happiness and wisdom will be appreciated forever by us and their grandchildren. May our precious memories remain forever."
